Photography 

Lisa Byrne graduated with an MA in Photography from the Royal College of Art, and, a PGCE, from University of Greenwich, London and Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours, Middlesex University, London. She has lectured in BA Video and Photography programs as well as foundation studies at the University for the Creative Arts, Maidstone and Farnham from 2007 until 2014. Byrne has taught since 1997 in Community, Further and Higher Education. Since 2010 she has taught GCSE and A Level at David Game College.  

As part of an annual professional development and personal passion Lisa provides guided tours for Frieze Art fair each year since 2006, to clients ranging from private buyers and collectors to newspapers such as the Guardian and Financial Times as well as patrons’ educational institutions and the general public. Having access to privileged information at Frieze, developing and researching tours, Lisa promotes her annual reboot of knowledge of contemporary art theory and practice. The knowledge and inspiration gained is infectious and rewarding for our students at David Game College.
