Philosophy and Religious Studies
With a first degree in Economics, Dr Tim Pritchard realised that his real interests, lay in a more philosophical and theological direction. He studied Theology and completed a degree in Theology in 1998 from the external programme of the University of London. After moving to London in 2004, he studied Philosophy at King's College London, completing an MPhil and a PhD. After completing his PhD, Dr Pritchard lectured at Birmingham and Reading, and was a post-doctoral researcher at King's College until 2014.
Since 2015, he has combined two teaching strands, working in both Further Education (at David Game College) and Higher Education (at University College London). He has tutored students at both A Level and degree level since 2005, with a focus throughout on the skills needed to write good essays. A great deal of his teaching has been in small groups, which is ideal background for contributing to David Game College.
